Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) threatened Department of Homeland Security officials, specifically calling out Border Czar Tom Homan and Kristi Noem. AOC said if they "laid a finger on" [arrested] the Democrats who DHS says assaulted federal agents at a Newark ICE facility, there would be a "problem."

DHS Responds Accordingly to AOC's Threats Over Possible Punishment for New Jersey Democrats

Fox asked Homan about AOC's threat. He laughed, saying sarcastically he was "extremely intimidated." He repeated that to Newsmax's Greta Van Susteren. He then said AOC was "full of sh...," but stopped himself from saying the whole word.

Homan was dismissive of her, "She's been yelling and screaming for the last four years. No one is above the law, including members of Congress." 

Homan said you can't "cross that line" and violate the law. 

"When you cross that line, we will ask the Attorney General to prosecute, and that's what we're doing." 

Homan explained there was a "lot of video being reviewed" and statements from witnesses being taken. Alina Habba, the acting U.S. Attorney for New Jersey, would make the decision, he said. 

Homan observed that the Democrats rail about due process. The ICE facility in Newark gave them due process, he argued, but the Democrats want to shut it down. He called the Democrats "unprofessional." 

Homan also skewered AOC in a comment to Fox. 

"I wish she'd do her job. She's a legislator, right? Why doesn’t she pass some legislation… and actually improve this country like President Donald Trump is already doing?" Homan later added.

"I'm doing my job: the border is secure. We arrested three times more criminals than [former President Joe] Biden did. We're doing our job. She should try doing her job."

He thought that the House Democrats involved in the chaos in Newark should face censure or removal of committee assignments.

Rep. Buddy Carter (R-GA) has proposed a resolution to pull their committee assignments. 

Finally, Homan finished her off on CNN. The Trump team had done more to make AOC's district safe than AOC had done, he declared. He also said she "can't intimidate me."

"The number of criminal aliens we took off the streets in New York made her community much safer,” he stated. 

“She ought to love her community more than she hates Trump,” he concluded. 

That's the problem. She doesn't.
